The goal of the test is to determine the strength of corners of window/casement frame when it is subjected to compression bending test. The strength of corners shows the ability of a window/casement frame to withstand stresses during installation and use.
To perform the test a universal testing machine Z100 Zwick/Roell equipped with set of rollers is used.
The strength of corners of window/casement frame is determined according to EN 514 - Unplasticized polyvinylchloride (PVC-U) profiles for the fabrication of windows and doors - Determination of the strength of welded corners and T-joints.
As part of the testing of the PM&VL7 research line, Indresmat window framess were examined before and after ageing.
