Joseba Ormaetxea Orobengoa, from the PV Systems platform at TECNALIA Research & Innovation, presented some of our latest developments within the MEZeroE project during the “BIPV Operational Experience and Reliability” session.
His talk, “Development and application of new extended-stress testing sequences to characterize durability of BIPV modules”, sparked great interest on how advanced testing protocols can improve the long-term reliability of Building-Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) solutions.
We are proud to contribute to reducing uncertainties in durability and performance, paving the way for more sustainable and resilient solar technologies.
Besides, it was a great opportunity to learn and connect with peers working on cutting-edge research and on industrial solutions for various IPV applications. A shared conclusion was that PV integration requires implementation of clear regulation and making holistic considerations for each IPV project and development.
