Numerical model for hygrothermal behaviour

Basic work requirement no. 3 for Hygiene, health, and environment includes different testing activities:

Hygrothermal behaviour is determined via calculation of internal surface temperature for preventing condensation on the surface as well as calculation of condensation in the material.

Numerical calculation of heat flows and surface temperatures to determine thermal bridges are performed in accordance to EN ISO 10211:2017. Determination of surface temperatures and heat flows through specific parts of the building envelope using numerical modelling of steady-state heat transfer is done to determine the adittional heat loss and assess the danger of surface condensation due to geometrical or material thermal bridges.
